This was a great story!

To be honest, I'm not usually too big on the whole fighter romance genre most of the time, but I wanted to make an exception for this one. I liked the idea of it a lot, and the sort of sports crossover between a tennis star and an MMA fighter had a lot of appeal to me. I don't think I've read a story like that before, and it piqued my interest.

I can definitely say that it kept my interest, too. Zane and Jo are two really interesting characters. Honestly, neither of them acted quite like I first thought they might. Jo was very strong-willed, but with a heart that kind of wants to be lured into temptation. A good temptation though, you know? She's looking for something special, but she's had too much pain and heartbreak in the past.

And Zane was... well, he's a bad boy, but I guess you could say he's a professional bad boy? Haha. He's not just some street thug or anything, and while he knows how to fight and fights professionally, he takes his career very seriously.

What I liked was that they were both passionate about something other than each other, which sounds weird at first, but I thought it added a lot of dynamic. Zane first met Jo at a party, where he probably got sort of the wrong impression of her, and uh... it's easy for her to get the wrong impression of him, too. Either way, they had an explosive connection, which was great.

But... it's not supposed to last, right? Or... maybe it can?

This is a great book, with some beautiful and exciting characters! I'd definitely recommend it. It was sweet and sexy, sinful and steamy, and everything in between. I enjoyed it a lot!

This is the first book I've read by Malia Mallory and I'm hooked! Tennis players and MMA athletes that fall in love, what more could a tomboy reader ask for!? Great story, great supporting character that leads to more stories, drama and FUN!
This was a really sexy read with great characters by Malia Mallory. Zane and Jo pulled me in and I felt really invested in the pair by the end of it. Looking forward to more from this author!
Zane, MMA and awesome, Jo, tennis pro and equally awesome, just in a different way. They meet, they interact and fall in love. Not exactly the match made in tennis heaven, or on the MMA mat, but it works for them. This is a great book, its enjoyable and while a little predictable, its still fun to read.
This is one of those romances that grabs you on the first page and takes you on the best kind of roller coaster ride. I love how alpha MMA fighters are and Zane is so hot! I enjoyed how the heroine in this story was also a professional athlete – what a great way to create conflict and chemistry. A steamy love story!
I've read a couple of Malia Mallory's books before, but I think Strike to the Heart is one of her better efforts. The writing is crisp, and Jo is a real and successful woman who I could find myself relating to, which I think is a great thing. The chemistry between Zane and Jo feels real and wonderful, and it was thrilling to read.
Just WOW is how you start this review. This is the story of Zane all Alpha MMA fighter with the heart of gold. And Jo a professional tennis player right at the top of her game.
The two meet at a party and the minute their eyes meet the Chemistry is off the charts.
Zane is all in but Jo is scared after being burned in the past. The two have a few bumps in the road but to get to HEA that what needs to happen.
If you love sports, romance and everything that comes in between this is a read you don't want to miss
It's been awhile since I've had a good fighter book, but I'm happy to say Malia Mallory's latest hits all the right buttons. Powerful alpha fighter Zane has a craving for pro tennis star Jo. The chemistry begins right away when they meet at a party, and explodes into one unforgettable night. Then the real drama begins!

Jo past and high stress athletic world makes her initially fear Zane's advances. He won't let go. This is a hot, sexy, and emotional story of pursuit with some seriously memorable moments. I enjoyed the chase and loved the style. Mallory does a great job at mixing New Adult angst with steaming hot romance and the deeper kind of fated love. There were also some twists and turns I didn't see coming, but you'll have to read it to find out!

This is a wonderful addition to the MMA fighter romance world from talented Malia. Can't wait to see what she brings us next!
